Many weeks ago, we released our very first episode of the
Succeed Against The Odds show and podcast. The episode was not only
great due to it being the first of many, but it featured founder of
Wisdom To Wealth Mastery and all around lovely individual, Sue
Ferreira. If you have not seen that episode yet, I highly recommend
checking it out here.
After the interview section had concluded, Sue and I continued our
dialogue about the overall issues we had discussed during the
interview. Furthermore, my marketing assistant Jenny, who had
witnessed the interview from behind the camera, chimed in as well.
I found the conversation the three of us were having to be rather
interesting so I decided to film it.
What you are seeing in this episode is that footage, after the
standard interview portion had concluded. The conversation broadly
had to do with the differences between how different demographics
accept and interact with the new technologies of today.
Jenny, being a millennial, gave her opinion while Sue and I
gave ours as representatives of the older generations.
We discussed why millennials generally accept “pushing the record
red button” more easily than older generations, where new
technology may be taking us in the future, and the importance of
getting over your fears of the online sphere.
As this was not the typical interview process, I did not want to
hold the conversation to any specific set of questions. Rather, we
let the conversation flow as it pleased until we had all shared our
respective opinions on the different topics. This also means that
each time stamp weaves itself through the entire episode. Although
a topic may start in one place, it could continue on later in the
episode. I encourage more older people to get in touch with the
newer generations to discuss our differences but also to discover
how much we have in common.
